These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the LogOut iOS application ("the App") provided by LogOut ("we", "us", "our"). By downloading or using the App, you agree to these Terms.
LogOut helps you build healthier phone habits by locking distracting apps and requiring walking steps to restore access. The App offers two modes:
App categories blocked during a session are configurable via the Focus Rules screen. Blocking is powered by Apple's Screen Time framework and applies system-wide.
Creating an account is optional. If you choose to create one:
An account enables cloud sync of your session history, stats, and app preferences (step goal, session duration, mode, and onboarding goals) across devices via Firebase (Google LLC). By creating an account you acknowledge that your session data and app preferences will be stored on Firebase servers. See our Privacy Policy for full details.
LogOut Pro is available as an auto-renewing subscription.
All payments are processed by Apple through the App Store. We do not have access to your payment information and cannot issue refunds directly.
To request a refund, visit reportaproblem.apple.com or contact Apple Support. Refunds are subject to Apple's standard refund policy.
The App requires certain device permissions to function. By using the App you agree to grant these permissions as needed:
You may revoke permissions at any time in iOS Settings, but doing so will limit or disable core app functionality.
By creating an account with an email address, you consent to receive transactional emails from us including:
You may opt out at any time by replying "Unsubscribe" to any email or contacting support@logoutapp.net.
The App integrates with the following third-party services, each governed by their own terms:
We are not responsible for the practices or content of these third-party services.
All content, design, code, and branding within the App are owned by or licensed to us. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or reverse-engineer any part of the App without our written permission.
We aim to keep the App available at all times but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We may update, modify, or discontinue features at any time without notice. We are not liable for any downtime or feature changes.
The App is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We do not warrant that the App will be error-free, that defects will be corrected, or that the App is free of viruses or other harmful components.
LogOut is a habit tool — it is not a medical device and does not provide medical, therapeutic, or clinical advice. Do not use the app in situations where distraction could be dangerous.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the App, including but not limited to loss of data, loss of revenue, or personal injury.
Our total liability to you for any claim arising from use of the App shall not exceed the amount you paid for the App in the 12 months preceding the claim.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the App if you violate these Terms. You may stop using the App at any time. Upon termination, your right to use the App ceases immediately. You may request deletion of your cloud data by contacting us.
We may update these Terms from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top will reflect the most recent version. Continued use of the App after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Victoria, Australia. Any disputes shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of Victoria, Australia.
